QuranRank LLC ("we", "us") operates the QuranRank mobile application and this website. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

Information We Collect

Account Info: name, email, country, gender (for prayer-time accuracy and Imam matching).
Audio Recordings: recitations you voluntarily submit for review.
Payment Info: processed securely via Apple In-App Purchase and Stripe. We do not store card numbers.
Usage Data: submissions, approval counts, session history for leaderboards and analytics.

How We Use It

Provide the app's core functionality (reviews, classes, leaderboards).
Process payments and pay out Imam earnings.
Send transactional notifications (approvals, class reminders).
Improve the app and prevent fraud.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share only with service providers required to operate the app: Apple (IAP), Stripe (payouts), Daily.co (video calls), MongoDB Atlas (database hosting), and SendGrid (email).

Your Rights

You may request account deletion or data export by emailing support@quranrank.com. We respond within 30 days.

Children

QuranRank is intended for users 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

1. Service Description

QuranRank provides a platform for Quran and Hadith memorization practice, connecting students with verified Imams for review and instruction.

2. Virtual Currency

QR coins (free/earned) and QRD coins (premium/purchased) are virtual items used within the app. They have no cash value, are non-refundable, and non-transferable outside the app. QRD coins purchased via Apple IAP are subject to Apple's refund policy.

3. Imam Earnings & Payouts

Verified Imams earn a 70% share of net revenue (after Apple's 30% IAP fee) on QRD-paid submissions and video classes. Payouts are processed via Stripe Connect and require identity verification.

4. User Conduct

Users agree not to submit content that is inappropriate, misleading, or violates Islamic principles of respect for the Quran and Hadith. Violations may result in account termination.

5. Limitation of Liability

QuranRank LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Total liability is limited to the amount you have paid to us in the past 12 months.

6. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in-app. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
